Snakes and Ladders play area was shut down for several hours after police swooped to investigate the incident in Houghton Regis, Beds. The huge indoor complex has a three-tier play frame connected by slides, tunnels, rope climbs and ball ponds for kids aged 12 years and under to explore and have fun. Staff at Snakes and Ladders said that their "thoughts were with the family" and that "we are all saddened that such an incident could occur in our playground. The company wrote a post on their Facebook wall after receiving "a lot of questions" from concerned parents. It read: "Today, a serious incident occurred of child to child bullying and we did call the police.
