After George Floyd was murdered by Minneapolis police, the country exploded in anger over the senseless police brutality that led to widespread rioting, vandalism, and killings, all in the name of Black Lives Matter.
The BLM movement is global.
The media has refrained from blaming much of the violence that has occurred lately on BLM domestic terrorists, even though these militants continue to incite violence and rioting, and attack police officers.
In case you didn’t know, BLM is also an anti-Semitic hate group.
The UK faction of the group is pushing a #FreePalestine message on Twitter and believes that “politics is gagged at the right to critique Zionism.”
So where are all of the Jewish American politicians on this? One would think that a full-court press by Jewish lawmakers would follow any anti-Semitic trope, but in Florida, Jewish American leaders are not just quiet, they are supportive of the BLM movement and what it stands for.
You all remember the “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon” chant, right?
Now both Reps. Ted Deutch (D) and Lois Frankel (D) have recently expressed their support for the movement, regardless of the group's anti-Israel slant, and both legislators, along with the rest of the House Democratic caucus have in the past refused to denounce the blatant anti-Semitic tropes from Rep. Ilhan Omar
Democrats are quick to call President Donald Trump a racist, but can’t seem to muster the courage to call out Rep. Omar for her anti-Israel comments.
Lois Frankel's expected to have a tough challenge in November by her probable Republican congressional opponent, Conservative journalist Laura Loomer, while Deutch will face off with the winner of the GOP primary race between Attorney James Pruden, business owner Fran Flynn, business owner Jessi Melton, and Darlene Swaffer
Laura Loomer, the Republican candidate running against Lois Frankel, is also Jewish and describes herself as a proud Zionist!
She slammed Lois’s support of Black Lives Matter, an organization that Loomer argues is “anti-Jewish” and “pro-Hamas”. Taking to her Parler social media account, Loomer, who is well-known for her pro-Israel activism and investigative journalism which focuses on exposing anti-Semitism, told The Floridian that she was “actively working to end Jew-hatred and will ALWAYS stand with Israel,” adding that “Frankel is the epitome of a self-hating jew.”
The race between Frankel and Loomer will make history. It will be the first time in US history in which A Democrat female Jew (Frankel) faces off with a Republican female Jew (Loomer).
